Operation Christmas Child Kickoff
Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.
The Operation Christmas Child Kick-off is October 6. Shoeboxes will be available that day. People can also sign up to serve during Collection Week (November 18-25) here at Pitts.
Sewing Hands Ministry

Be Strong Men's Conference
Our men will be attending the “Be Strong” Men’s Conference weekend at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters on September 20-22. The cost is $175. Space is limited to 20 spots, so see Scott Dry as soon as possible with your $50 deposit. A sign up sheet and additional details are available at the Information Desk in the Worship Center Lobby. You can drive your own vehicle or ride the church bus that will leave that Friday at 1pm. Go to www.swoutfitters.com and click on the “Men’s Conference” tab for more information. After you sign up, you will be sent a link to register through Snowbird online. Young men 16 and older can participate, but those under 18 must have their dad accompany them.

Special Guest Speaker - Devon Rachae
Devon Rachae is from the island of Grenada where he received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift at age 12. The gift played an essential role in his salvation experience, which eventually led to his involvement within his local church and community. Rachae later went on to serve as a Senator in Grenada's parliament, the youngest Senator in the Caribbean. After many years in politics, Rachae felt called into full-time ministry, and he now serves as senior pastor of two churches. In addition to his church ministry, Rachae has served with Operation Christmas Child in various capacities internationally and currently serves as Regional Coordinator for the Caribbean, Pacific, and Islands.
